Project manager in commercial automation

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive adoption and increased automation of an AI-enabled Order Automation solution within a global manufacturing company. The role focuses on commercial process automation and combines project management, business analysis, and product ownership. You will work closely with global Customer Sales and Service teams, IT stakeholders, and external vendors to optimize commercial processes, reduce manual work, and strengthen solution performance.

• Drive adoption and increase automation rates of the existing AI-enabled Order Automation solution, reducing manual intervention
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog together with business and IT stakeholders
• Coordinate project activities, stakeholders, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
• Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops to identify automation opportunities and process improvements in Customer Service and commercial operations
• Analyze user feedback, support cases, and operational data to identify barriers to automation
• Recommend process, policy, and guideline improvements
• Coordinate UAT, pre-launch testing, training, rollout, hypercare, and operational support
• Act as primary business contact for incidents, enhancement requests, and bug resolution across IT, business experts, and vendors

• Approx. 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, business analysis, product ownership, or process improvement
• Experience with digitalization, automation, AI, or business transformation projects
• Understanding of Customer Service, Order Management, or commercial business processes
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, translating business needs into solution requirements, and managing and prioritizing backlogs
• Understanding of process mapping and process optimization techniques
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional environment
