• Meet regularly with team members about project tasks to ensure milestones are met
• Ensure work complies with standard processes, policies, and procedures and meets project timeline metrics
• Ensure direct reports understand Estimate at Completion (EAC), baseline and change control for scope, budget, schedule, and risk/issue management
• Set performance expectations for direct reports
• Train and onboard new Project Management Analysts on processes and procedures, and ensure required training is completed on time
• Complete and discuss the PMA competency framework with each direct report
• Support EES action planning
• Review project performance dashboards and follow up with direct reports on system and metrics compliance
• Review metrics and ensure updates are made in IQVIA systems for accurate, timely reporting to senior management
• Review and track employee resource allocation and ensure appropriate backfill and utilization
• Produce status and tracking reports for team members and senior management, including monthly project reviews
• Ensure direct reports process and approve invoices accurately and on time
• Support team members’ professional development and provide mentoring
• Produce and distribute reports and presentation materials
• Set goals to increase project management knowledge and skills
• Support team members in implementing continuous improvement activities for assigned projects
• Partner with other functional groups to develop and implement process improvements
• Prepare and present team information at meetings
• Assist with department resourcing
• Ensure required training courses are completed on time for self and the team
• Participate in functional and/or corporate initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, plus project management experience in clinical research; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is also considered
• At least 5 years of clinical research experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity, with experience managing and developing individuals and teams
• Strong understanding of resource planning, work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and process execution
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, proactively addressing performance challenges, and driving engagement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships at all levels
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, influencing, and negotiation skills
• Ability to deliver results while maintaining high quality standards and meeting project timelines
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, managers, clients, and cross-functional teams
• Experience in global environments, cultural awareness, and ability to collaborate across geographies
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to exceptional service and strong stakeholder relationships
• Understanding of clinical trial conduct and applicable regulatory requirements, including ICH-GCP and relevant local laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong overall technology skills
