Project manager for utilities platforms

• Advise on platform implementations for energy companies: You advise customers of our platform partners conceptually in the specialist disciplines of billing, technical device management, tariffing, market communication or financial accounting (including subledger accounting), in the context of introducing billing platforms for the market roles of network operator, metering point operator or supplier.
• Be the specialist contact for customers: As part of implementation projects, you are the point of contact for customers in your area of expertise. Among other things, you conduct workshops and working sessions to understand customer requirements and turn them into tailored solutions.
• Manage requirements: You capture, assess and prioritize specialist requirements and rethink them in complex environments, at the interface between business departments and IT.
• Support testing: You professionally plan and support functional testing through to production readiness.
• Deliver projects: You support project implementation in customer-facing roles (e.g. as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Cutover Manager, subproject lead or project lead) and assist with project planning in the context of implementing rollout scenarios.

• Solid education: A degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or a comparable field — ideally with a focus on the energy industry.
• Professional experience: At least 6 years of practical experience in the energy industry or in energy-sector consulting, with a focus on energy networks/suppliers, has given you a solid foundation for the next step in your development. Initial migration experience would be ideal.
• Knowledge of business processes: You are familiar with the business processes of the market roles of distribution and transmission system operators and/or metering point operators.
• Specialist knowledge: Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Meter2Cash process; network/sales billing and tariff design; technical device management; energy industry regulation and legislation; market communication, data exchange and EDIFACT market formats; meter data management and substitute value creation; subledger accounting and financial accounting.
• AI competence: You confidently use AI tools in your specialist field, critically assess the results and support customers and adessi in harnessing the potential of AI.
• Language skills: Very good German and good English skills.
