• Manage Shopify store build and theme development projects for client merchants and brands, often several at the same time;
• Own day-to-day communication with end clients, including scope, timelines, status, and trade-offs;
• Manage developers, designers, and QA to keep tickets, priorities, and blockers clear;
• Translate merchant and brand goals into phased Shopify work;
• Use Shopify knowledge to challenge estimates and identify launch risks early;
• Run projects from kickoff through launch and ongoing theme maintenance;
• Keep US clients updated in writing and on live calls during agreed Eastern Time overlap;
• Use AI tools to draft plans, tickets, status updates, and risk notes, then review the output before sending it to clients;
• Create clear handoff documentation for other PMs or engineers.

• Agency experience managing Shopify store builds and theme development for different merchants and brands;
• Experience running multiple Shopify client projects and keeping deadlines on track;
• Comfortable working directly with merchants, founders, and brand stakeholders;
• Experience managing developers and designers day to day;
• Solid understanding of Shopify themes, apps, checkout, content freezes, and launch windows;
• Comfortable with Jira, Linear, Notion, Asana, or similar tools;
• Experience using ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI tools in project work;
• English at C1 or above;
• Available through roughly 5 PM EST for live client coordination;
• Demonstrates ownership through honest timelines, early blocker escalation, and completed launches.

• Fully remote and async-friendly;
• Required overlap through 5 PM EST for client sessions;
• Contract employment with a monthly retainer structure;
• Recurring Shopify client work across multiple brands;
• Autonomy over delivery and communication processes;
