project manager for international partnerships

Tourism and Entertainment Group, part of Akfa Group, develops tourism and entertainment initiatives. The role supports international university partnerships, inbound investment projects, and related analysis and documentation.

• Manage international partnership and investment projects from initial agreement through signed documentation and implementation;
• Prepare feasibility studies, concept notes, business cases, and executive presentations;
• Build and maintain project budgets, including cost structures, tracking, and variance reporting;
• Develop and maintain project timelines against externally fixed deadlines;
• Serve as the primary point of contact for foreign universities, investors, government bodies, and external advisers;
• Draft and manage correspondence and documentation in English on behalf of the CEO;
• Report project status, risks, and decisions requiring executive input.

• Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken;
• At least 5 years of experience in international relations, international business, project management, or a diplomatic mission;
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and project budgeting;
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, including CAPEX/OPEX structure, cost control, and variance analysis;
• Proven record of delivering projects to fixed deadlines;
• Ability to work independently, define scope, identify missing information, and propose a course of action without detailed instruction;
• Nice to have: experience in education, tourism, hospitality, or real estate development projects, Russian and/or Uzbek in addition to English, experience working with government or multilateral institutions.
