• Participate in developing project management plans and create project documentation;
• Ensure project development and execution;
• Maintain required documentation across project phases and stages;
• Coordinate changes with project sponsors;
• Participate in project execution and progress monitoring;
• Control the quality of project work;
• Coordinate project team members;
• Initiate and conduct meetings related to approved project execution;
• Comply with confidential information handling procedures;
• Align work pack and material delivery with construction mobilisation;
• Provide construction expertise during FEED and Detail Design through constructability reviews, scope minimisation, and adoption of safe and efficient construction methods;
• Engage with contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless site delivery;
• Ensure the correct level and sequence of the Work Breakdown Structure at project kick-off;
• Ensure site activities are performed safely, responsibly, with integrity and quality, and meet HS&E targets;
• Oversee the home office team to ensure quality construction input into integrated engineering and planning processes;
• Deliver site teams in line with client business schedules;
• Reduce site costs through continual performance reviews and improvements by site teams;
• Ensure construction and commissioning follow corporate and project-specific procedures, processes, and systems;
• Monitor competency and training requirements for construction and commissioning personnel;
• Define and communicate safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities within areas of control;
• Ensure workers receive appropriate training, including Health and Safety and site-specific inductions;
• Manage and control project cost and schedule for assigned disciplines or onsite construction subsets;
• Use commercial processes to capture variations effectively;
• Work with engineering during design phases to optimise constructability;
• Support compliance with LLP Life Saving Rules;
• Work within the LLP core values framework, prioritising safety;
• Contribute to planned work scopes efficiently and on time;
• Manage all aspects of large and complex construction management projects;
• Own the overall contract construction effort and commissioning strategy, including safety, planning, cost, and field-work delivery;
• Supervise, organise, and coordinate head office, site construction, and commissioning teams;
• Control and coordinate the epidemiological situation in the Almaty office;
• Liaise with the HSE Manager and other HSE representatives;
• Organise occupational health and safety activities in the Almaty office;
• Monitor compliance with HSE legislation and regulations;
• Promote health and safety as a company core value.

• University degree in a relevant discipline;
• More than 7 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years managing projects or parts of projects;
• Strong experience in the related field, industry, and work locations;
• Thorough understanding of project management techniques and practices;
• Thorough understanding of project goals, drivers, and strategies;
• Experience developing and implementing success and benefits measures across several projects;
• Knowledge of stakeholder prioritisation and stakeholder management plans;
• Experience interfacing with key stakeholders to establish and maintain requirements and acceptance criteria;
• Good knowledge of industry and company risk management processes;
• Experience with qualitative assessment methods and some knowledge of quantitative assessment techniques;
• Good knowledge and experience in project monitoring and forecasting;
• Ability to manage change control processes involving several subcontractors and interfaces;
• In-depth knowledge of project information and deliverables, with the ability to manage an information management project team;
• Good knowledge of handover and close-out activities for customers, the company, and suppliers;
• Nice to have: Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM), or equivalent certification.
