Project Manager

Linde Material Handling is a global manufacturer of forklift trucks, warehouse vehicles, and high-performance intralogistics solutions. Since 2006, it has been part of KION Group.

• Plan and execute intralogistics software projects, including Warehouse Management Systems, Forklift Guiding Systems, Warehouse Control Systems, Semi-automated VNA, and control software for automated guided vehicles;
• Conduct realization workshops to create and validate requirements analyses and integrate intralogistics software into customer system landscapes;
• Define and validate interfaces between WMS, WCS, automation, and robot control systems;
• Capture and specify customer requirements as technical specifications for WMS, WCS, and automation systems;
• Create project documentation and collaborate with internal and external project management partners;
• Manage FAT and SAT testing, commissioning, Go-Live, and Ramp-Up phases until final acceptance;
• Analyze and optimize logistics processes, warehouse layouts, IT processes, and warehouse technology;
• Coordinate projects, prepare reports, and create profitability analyses;
• Support the sales process and workshops with product and process expertise when required;
• Advise and train the network on intralogistics and automation software project management;
• Create structures for integrating intralogistics software project management into the automation business unit.

• Professional experience in project management in logistics or intralogistics, ideally with intralogistics software;
• Good technical understanding of material flow, intralogistics, and warehouse management systems;
• Experience in operational logistics and the logistics environment;
• Experience in IT or software involving warehouse management systems or intralogistics systems;
• Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative;
• Goal-oriented, analytical, reliable, and well-organized approach;
• Ability to understand, apply, and explain complex topics;
• Strong communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders;
• Customer-oriented approach with a focus on client requirements;
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, time management, and organizational skills;
• Ability to analyze and improve complex processes;
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%;
• Nice to have: Experience specifically connected to intralogistics software.
