Project Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific provides scientific solutions and services to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and biotechnology research. The PPD FSP division functions as an extension of client teams, offering specialized talent and resources to manage clinical programs and operational capacity.

• Serve as the primary contact between the sponsor and the organization at the project level;
• Ensure escalation pathways are adhered to internally and externally;
• Ensure clear delineation in responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads;
• Account for the overall delivery of the cross-functional project regarding time, cost, and quality;
• Ensure financial stewardship at a project level, including contract understanding, resource alignment, and management of out-of-scope activity;
• Drive the contract modification process, negotiations, and team execution to timelines;
• Establish, communicate, and manage customer expectations;
• Drive risk identification and issue resolution at the project level;
• Ensure project team compliance with organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification;
• 6+ Years of experience in clinical operations management, specifically managing clinical trials per quality, timeline, and budget expectations;
• Technical competency in Microsoft Office suite and organization systems like CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity;
• Ability to delegate and prioritize workloads in a frequently changing environment;
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including financial acumen;
• Advanced knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines;
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills with cross-cultural awareness;
• Nice to have: Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, critical and analytical strategic thinking.
