Project Manager

The Business Area Markets unit serves as the single access point to energy commodity markets, trading electricity, emissions, fuels, freight, and renewable certificates to maximize portfolio value. The OU Operations unit within this area drives digital transformation through a diverse, international team.

• Lead complex projects prioritized by the BA Markets Project Portfolio Board;
• Drive cross-functional initiatives involving multiple agile teams by structuring solutions into clear work packages;
• Align, coordinate, and follow up on project delivery;
• Conduct intake assessments for new initiatives to improve planning quality and execution;
• Contribute to the continuous development of the project management profession by evolving the PM/IM framework and IM AI agent;
• Support the ongoing evolution of the Agile way of working through collaboration with Agile teams and the Agile Center of Excellence;
• Navigate competing priorities and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in complex, cross-functional environments;
• Solid understanding of the energy industry and energy market dynamics;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex challenges and solutions clearly;
• Proven ability to proactively identify, manage, and mitigate dependencies and risks in multi-team and system landscapes;
• Outstanding stakeholder management and people leadership skills;
• Excellent planning and prioritization capabilities;
• Ability to combine strategic, big-picture thinking with attention to detail;
• Sound knowledge of project and programme management methodologies, including agile and waterfall approaches;
• Nice to have: Advanced certification in project or programme management.
