Project Manager

Consat Telematics is a leading Swedish technology company specialising in intelligent IT solutions for public transportation and smart mobility. As a Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate customer telematics projects, translating customer needs into clearly defined development and implementation tasks and ensuring their successful delivery.

Acting as the link between customers and Product & R&D teams, you will ensure that requirements are well documented, clearly communicated, and efficiently executed.

You will collaborate closely with developers, technical teams, Product Owners, and customer stakeholders to support the implementation of hardware and software solutions tailored to customer needs. The role involves coordinating technical planning, aligning requirements, monitoring project progress, and maintaining direct communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

You will also contribute to development planning, workload forecasting, and the continuous improvement of our telematics solutions.

The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and regular travel may be required for customer meetings.

• Lead and coordinate customer telematics projects from initial planning through to successful delivery.
• Translate customer requirements into structured development and implementation tasks.
• Coordinate technical planning and support the implementation of hardware and software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, technical teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of requirements, configurations, and project progress.
• Monitor and regularly update project progress.
• Plan and conduct regular project meetings with customers.
• Contribute to development planning and workload forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the continuous improvement of our telematics solutions and processes.

• Demonstrable experience with processes within the RTA Public Transport Department (mandatory requirement).
• Experience as a technical Project Manager within the telematics or public transportation industry.
• Experience working in cross-functional product development environments.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Ability to participate in technical discussions and translate complex requirements into structured plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A structured, analytical, and value-driven approach to problem-solving.
• A degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least one relevant certification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is considered an advantage.
• A background in software development or engineering is a plus.
