product manager for identity verification

Veriff provides an identity verification platform that helps organizations verify and safeguard users worldwide. Its flagship physical document IDV product uses machine learning for document classification, data extraction, fraud and spoofing detection across thousands of document types and alphabets.

• Own the technical roadmap for physical document IDV, covering accuracy, coverage, fraud detection, and conversion;
• Partner with data scientists and ML engineers on model and system trade-offs;
• Balance accuracy, conversion, latency, and cost against live enterprise contracts;
• Represent Veriff in complex customer calls, lead technical deep-dives, and answer detailed accuracy questions;
• Partner with operations on the human-in-the-loop side of the product;
• Partner with annotation teams on the data used to train and evaluate models;
• Work across product marketing, legal and privacy, analytics, and go-to-market to launch, position, and scale products.

• 4+ Years of end-to-end B2B/B2B2C Product Management experience;
• Fluency in ML concepts including precision/recall, loss functions, and the impact of thresholds on user conversion;
• Ability to write queries, debug data pipelines, and conduct root-cause analysis independently;
• Comfort handling highly technical conversations with enterprise clients;
• Experience thriving in a scale-up environment with high ambiguity, fast pace, and changing priorities;
• Fluent English, written and verbal;
• Nice to have: experience in identity verification, document security, computer vision, or fraud; familiarity with regulated industries such as finance, mobility, or government tech; previous software engineering or data science experience; a degree in a quantitative field.
