product manager for fintech billing

An international travel-tech platform develops a financial billing domain covering automated invoicing, payments, data reconciliation, VAT, and revenue recognition to support business scalability.

• Manage the Billing domain end to end, including vision, backlog prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria;
• Work with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax rules across different countries;
• Develop payment systems supporting multiple currencies, taxation, external acquirers, and ERP integrations;
• Automate manual processes for reconciliation, refunds, disputed payments, and DSO reduction;
• Track billing health metrics, including failed payments and reconciliation rate, and make data-driven decisions.

• 3+ Years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in FinTech, Billing, Payments, or SaaS products;
• Understanding of accounting principles, including revenue recognition, VAT/GST, and cross-border taxation;
• Experience writing user stories, accepting tasks, and working with Agile;
• Experience integrating payment gateways, acquiring banks, or ERP/accounting systems;
• English at B2 level or higher for confident presentations and stakeholder communication.
