product manager Data Platform

Ameriabank CJSC operates in the finance, banking, and insurance industry and provides banking and credit services.

• Define and communicate the Data Platform product vision, scope, and long-term objectives, aligning squad goals with enterprise data and digital strategy;
• Own and maintain the Data Platform product roadmap, balancing architectural evolution, operational stability, and business-driven initiatives;
• Lead the Data Platform squad backlog, translating business, architectural, and technical requirements into clear user stories and priorities;
• Prioritize platform capabilities including data ingestion, processing, streaming, DWH evolution, reliability, performance, and automation;
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and data architects to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with target architecture;
• Act as the primary interface between the squad and business stakeholders, Architects, Data Governance, and IT;
• Manage dependencies and cross-team alignment among various data-related squads;
• Define and track KPIs for the data platform, including reliability, delivery lead time, data availability, and adoption;
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives, driving continuous improvement;
• Ensure all platform initiatives comply with data security, privacy, and governance standards.

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Lead in data, platform, or technology-driven teams;
• Strong understanding of data platforms, SQL/NoSQL databases, data warehouses, ETL/ELT, and real-time data processing concepts;
• Ability to discuss data architecture, system design, and technical trade-offs with engineering teams;
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies and backlog management tools such as Jira;
• Solid understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory requirements;
• Excellent stakeholder management, prioritization, and communication skills;
• Nice to have: NoSQL databases, product management, SQL, MS Office, banking, ETL, decision making, analytical skills.
