IT project manager

Pimec needs to hire an IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate technological projects from beginning to end, acting as the connection point between the different business areas, internal technical teams, and technology providers. The selected person will participate in projects related to corporate applications, integrations, automation, digital platforms, Business Intelligence, and data, contributing to the organization's technological evolution and transformation.

• Participate in analyzing the needs of the different areas and help structure them as projects.
• Coordinate the definition of the scope, requirements, deliverables, and success criteria for each project.
• Prepare and monitor project plans: milestones, dependencies, risks, and action plans.
• Coordinate the different areas involved, as well as internal technical teams and external providers.
• Manage and monitor the providers responsible for project execution.
• Monitor scope, deadlines, quality, and costs, identifying and anticipating risks, blockers, or deviations.
• Analyze estimates, scope changes, and possible cost deviations, providing functional and technological judgment.
• Coordinate the testing, validation, implementation, and production launch phases.
• Keep the people and areas involved informed about project progress and manage expectations in the event of possible deviations.
• Ensure a global, structured, and up-to-date view of the status of the projects under their responsibility.
• Collaborate in defining and implementing common methodologies and standards for managing technological projects.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration and Management, or a similar field.
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience participating in or managing technological, digital, or solution implementation projects.
• Knowledge of the lifecycle of a technological project: requirements analysis, solution definition, development or configuration, integrations, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Experience coordinating and managing technology providers.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and monitor projects, with a focus on objectives and results.
• Ability to communicate with different areas and profiles, both business and technical.
• Ability to identify risks, anticipate problems, and propose solutions.
• Experience with Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of project management and tracking tools.
• Catalan and Spanish, at a professional level.
