In this role, you are a key player in delivering a seamless HR experience for our employees and managers. You handle daily HR operations with precision, while also taking ownership of more complex or escalated cases when they arise.

Every day, you make a difference by ensuring HR processes are completed accurately, on time, and with a strong focus on customer experience. You take pride in getting things right and in helping others navigate HR topics with confidence.

You work within ABB’s global HR framework, applying standardized processes while ensuring everything aligns with Belgian legal and regulatory requirements. This balance between global consistency and local expertise is where your impact truly shows.

Your responsibilities are diverse and will evolve with the needs of the business, including—but not limited to—the following:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accountancy-Taxation, or a related field.
• You bring several years of experience in payroll, ideally in an international environment.
• You have a strong knowledge of and interest in Belgian social and tax legislation.
• You are comfortable working with MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP HR, Workday, or payroll accounting systems is a plus.
• You work accurately and use your analytical skills to solve problems and ensure quality.
• You have a service-oriented mindset and enjoy working collaboratively in a team.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both written and spoken.

We assist the business and support services in the management of several HR disciplines, such as Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment & Selection, Talent Development, as well as the Payroll and Personnel Administration and the Legal support related to it.
