Head of asset, liability and capital management

Evoca is looking for a Head of Asset, Liability and Capital Management Division, who will organize and oversee the effective management of the Bank’s assets, liabilities and capital, ensuring compliance with liquidity and capital adequacy ratios. The candidate will organize financial planning, assess the impact of market changes and present relevant recommendations to ensure the Bank’s profitability and financial stability.

• develop and implement the Bank’s asset, liability and capital management strategy;
• organize the liquidity management and forecasting process;
• assess and manage interest rate risk (IRRBB);
• analyze the funding structure and the cost of funds raised;
• organize capital planning and capital adequacy management;
• analyze structural mismatches between assets and liabilities;
• analyze financial markets, the macroeconomic environment and interest rate trends;
• organize scenario analyses;
• develop asset and liability management reports and analytical tools;
• prepare and present relevant reports, analyses and recommendations to the Asset and Liability Management Committee;
• coordinate decisions related to asset, liability and capital management and present recommendations;
• perform other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

• higher education in Economics or Finance;
• at least 5 years of work experience in a bank or the financial system, of which at least 2 years in a managerial or responsible position in the areas of asset and liability management, financial planning, liquidity, capital or financial risk management;
• knowledge of financial models and experience in financial analysis and modeling;
• technical skills: advanced knowledge of MS Excel, good knowledge of SQL and Power BI and application of Python for financial data processing, analysis, modeling and process automation;
• analytical and strategic thinking;
• planning, organizational and decision-making skills;
• team management and interdepartmental collaboration skills;
• initiative and a practical, flexible mindset;
• excellent command of Armenian and professional proficiency in English.
