V. operates as a global leader in ship management and marine services, adding value to vessel operations around the clock and worldwide by covering crew management, recruitment, technical services, and commercial support.

• Critically review entity reports submitted by Accountants and Accounting assistants, with particular emphasis on variance analysis;
• Ensure correct implementation of standardised procedures;
• Perform tests to ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated results;
• Monitor closely adherence to agreed budgets;
• Ensure that dividend policy is closely monitored and followed;
• Carry out site visits overseas when necessary;
• Assist, advise, and train subordinates as necessary;
• Liaise with external Auditors;
• Ensure that all deadlines set by the Divisions / Clients are respected;
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s monthly management accounts;
• Ensure that the year-end Financial Statements are timely prepared;
• Ensure that statutory requirements pertaining to Payroll, VAT and Tax are met;
• Undertake special projects as assigned, and assist the Finance Manager as necessary.

• Professional qualification (ACCA or ACA) with at least three years of experience in a relevant position, or University Degree in Accounting or/and Part Qualified (ACCA or ACA) with at least five years of experience in a relevant position.
