Amazon provides Marketplace services to over 2 million Sellers, connecting businesses with customers and offering a large selection, low prices, and delivery services. The Amazon Shipping business supports the company’s growing European operations across marketplaces and demand streams.

• Drive annual operating plans, the three-year strategic plan, and monthly and quarterly business reviews;
• Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs and make decisions in ambiguous environments;
• Partner with senior business leaders and develop operational metrics and goals to improve performance;
• Communicate financial data clearly in written and verbal formats for different audiences;
• Analyze the ROI of programs and initiatives and generate actionable insights from large datasets;
• Foster constructive dialogue, resolve conflicting views, and drive decisions;
• Recruit high-performing talent and continuously develop the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related analytical field;
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results;
• Experience applying financial performance indicators to analyses;
• Experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes;
• Experience with data analytics platforms such as Power BI, Python, SQL, and Tableau;
• Nice to have: knowledge of Tableau, continuous improvement projects with measurable results, large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, and Cognos, financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, and JD Edwards.
