Financial analyst in Prime Video accounting

Amazon’s Prime Video team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the EMEA operational accounting activities of Prime Video. Amazon is a pioneering and dynamic company that thrives on unique and peculiar ways.

• Supporting aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
• Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
• Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.
• Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles
• Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures
• Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
• Будет плюсом: Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent); Knowledge of of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift); Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query); Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)
