financial analyst for premium baby and toddler products

The client is a US-based consumer goods company specializing in premium baby and toddler products.

• Own the monthly close, follow a fixed calendar, and complete it by the 7th of each month
• Reconcile revenue and fees across Shopify, Amazon, Faire, and the wholesale order system
• Build the monthly management pack, including channel P&L, margin analysis, cost trends, and commentary
• Own and maintain the cash flow forecast
• Automate and centralize reporting by building pipelines across Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Amazon Seller Central, and the wholesale system
• Analyze channel profitability, software and OpEx spend, inventory positions, pricing, and promotion performance
• Support AP and AR, including identifying and recovering under-billed wholesale revenue
• Work with external tax advisors and auditors on statutory reporting and audit requests

• 1 To 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, in practice or in industry
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Based in a time zone within roughly two hours of UK time
• Excellent Excel or Sheets skills, including lookups, pivots, and building usable tools
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, journals, accruals, and reconciliations
• Use AI daily to reconcile and clean data, draft analysis, and automate repetitive work
• Precise, coachable, ambitious, and genuinely interested in the business
• Comfortable working remotely with real autonomy
