Financial Analyst

• Develop and deliver financial reporting, controls, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting for group deadlines;
• Prepare, interpret, and analyze financial data, business metrics, and ad hoc reports for global management;
• Prepare annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, cost and expense forecasts, monthly utilization, headcount, revenue backlog analysis, and gross profit reports for the assigned area;
• Produce ad hoc reports as required;
• Develop and produce monthly financial reports and commentary, along with other required financial analysis and metrics;
• Review reporting timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency and suggest methods for improving results;
• Serve as a key contact for interpreting and investigating financial results in the assigned area;
• Provide financial insights into business growth trends and profitability in the assigned area;
• Assist Finance management and colleagues with miscellaneous projects as directed by the supervisor;
• Use protocol and subject data to build subject visit forecasts, including forecasts split by multiple cohorts or arms and different subject statuses;
• Review Medidata CTMS data and determine whether additional side calculations are needed for forecasts, including missing screen failure costs;
• Identify data inconsistencies, including significant changes in visit rates for a site and currency errors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience;
• 0–2 Years of work experience;
• Pharmaceutical or CRO experience;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Proficiency with accounting software packages;
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data;
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organization, interpersonal skills, and teamwork;
• Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• High personal motivation to achieve;
• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines;
• Nice to have: experience with Oracle Finance.
