Financial Analyst

• Support financial analysis for Starr International across core Finance activities and strategic initiatives;
• Own the production of recurring MI reporting, including data extraction, validation, and consolidation across business units;
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial outputs;
• Coordinate with regional offices and business unit stakeholders to collate, standardize, and analyze financial data;
• Support variance analysis and performance tracking across Starr International;
• Produce clear and structured outputs such as reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders;
• Provide first-draft commentary and key insights on financial performance;
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business at all levels.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience;
• Strong understanding of the non-life insurance market, including Lloyd’s and the London Market;
• Advanced numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail;
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders;
• Professional business writing and presentation skills;
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;
• Degree educated or equivalent;
• Fully qualified in an Accounting or other financial qualification;
• Nice to have: Power BI or similar data analytics software, experience with Anaplan or other planning tools.
