Financial analyst

We are looking for someone who feels at home in the world of numbers, can draw accurate conclusions from them and turn financial data into concrete business recommendations. In this role, you will combine analytical thinking with collaborative work across different departments, supporting the Management Board in making key decisions. You will have a real impact on financial planning, performance monitoring, project profitability assessment and the development of tools that improve reporting and controlling processes.

• Prepare recurring management reports and forecasts for revenue, cost of sales, operating costs and margins
• Analyze revenue, costs, project profitability and margins.
• Monitor budget execution and analyze variances.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Participate in preparing the budget, financial forecasts and presentations for the Management Board.
• Prepare analyses to meet the Management Board's current needs.
• Participate in implementing and improving systems and tools that support reporting automation and the streamlining of financial processes.
• Check the accuracy of financial data relating to projects in progress.
• Work with the accounting department on closing reporting periods and optimizing financial and accounting processes.
• Work with the company's business departments on finance-related matters
• Support the financial statement audit by preparing analyses, reports, reconciliations and documentation required by auditors.

• Higher education in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analysis or a related field).
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling or auditing.
• Practical knowledge of management and financial accounting principles (including month-end/year-end closing mechanisms and financial reporting).
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Practical ability to analyze variances and margins and assess project profitability.
• Practical experience preparing data and documentation for external auditors conducting financial statement audits.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Very good communication skills and a collaborative approach to business
• Experience working in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
