Financial analyst

We are looking for someone who feels at home in the world of numbers, can draw accurate conclusions from them and translate financial data into concrete business recommendations. In this role, you will combine analytical thinking with collaborative work across different departments, supporting the Management Board in making key decisions. You will have a real impact on financial planning, performance monitoring, project profitability assessment and the development of tools that improve reporting and controlling processes.

• Preparing regular management reports and forecasts for revenue, cost of goods sold, operating costs and margin
• Analyzing revenue, costs, project profitability and margins.
• Monitoring budget execution and analyzing variances.
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Contributing to the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and presentations for the Management Board.
• Preparing analyses to meet the Management Board's current needs.
• Contributing to the implementation and improvement of systems and tools that support reporting automation and the optimization of financial processes.
• Checking the accuracy of financial data relating to ongoing projects.
• Working with the accounting department on closing reporting periods and optimizing financial and accounting processes.
• Working with the company's business departments on matters relating to finance
• Supporting the financial statement audit process by preparing analyses, reports, reconciliations and documentation required by auditors.

• Higher education in a relevant field: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analysis or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling or audit.
• Practical knowledge of management and financial accounting principles, including month-end/year-end closing mechanisms and financial reporting.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Practical ability to analyze variances and margins and assess project profitability.
• Practical experience preparing data and documentation for external auditors conducting financial statement audits.
• English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level
• Very good communication skills and a collaborative approach to business
• Experience working in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
