You make sure our numbers are right, year-end closings are properly prepared, and our finance processes run reliably. You work independently, enjoy getting into complex accounting and tax topics, and want to actively develop processes. This is a fixed-term position for at least one year, covering a parental leave.

• You take on full responsibility for ongoing financial accounting. You are responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements under HGB (German GAAP).
• You reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and ensure clean account management.
• You handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting. You carry out intercompany reconciliations and intercompany charges between our companies.
• You prepare VAT returns and handle further tax matters together with our external tax advisor.
• You work together with auditors, tax advisors, and internal contacts.
• You contribute to the further development and digitalization of our finance processes.
• You prepare evaluations, analyses, and reports and present relevant information in an understandable way.

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as a Tax Clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r), Industrial Clerk (Industriekaufmann/-frau), or in a comparable field.
• Further training as a Certified Bookkeeper (Bilanzbuchhalter:in, IHK) is an advantage.
• You have practical experience in accounting, especially financial accounting and monthly and annual closings.
• You are confident with DATEV and Excel. You have very good knowledge of HGB accounting and a sound understanding of German tax regulations, especially VAT.
• You work in a structured, careful, and independent way. You communicate confidently in German and English, including for complex tax and accounting matters.
