Accountant in a restaurant group

AMTJ LLC is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team.This role is suitable for a professional who wants to develop strong practical expertise in accounting and gradually take responsibility for a broader range of accounting processes.

• Recording and processing daily accounting transactions in accordance with accounting policies and applicable legislation
• Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Processing invoices, primary accounting documents, acts, and other financial documentation
• Performing bank and cash transactions and ensuring their proper accounting
• Monitoring settlements with suppliers, customers, and other counterparties
• Preparing and maintaining accounting registers and supporting documentation
• Performing account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
• Participating in monthly and annual closing processes
• Preparing analytical information and internal financial reports for management
• Supporting the preparation of tax and statutory reports
• Checking the completeness and accuracy of primary documents and ensuring their proper filing
• Monitoring document flow between branches, finance, and other departments
• Participating in inventory and fixed asset accounting
• Assisting with payroll-related accounting processes and reconciliations
• Communicating with suppliers and other counterparties regarding financial and accounting matters
• Supporting internal and external audits by providing the required accounting documentation
• Identifying accounting discrepancies and participating in their resolution
• Performing other accounting and financial tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• At least 1 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of Armenian tax and accounting legislation
• Good command of MS Excel
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with large volumes of information and meet deadlines
• Responsibility, accuracy, and a structured approach to work
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
