support engineer for Unity SDK integrations

Altoros is a leading IT services provider.

• Review Unity SDK release notes monthly and identify breaking changes that may affect Django integration
• Assess the impact of each release on the existing API contract
• Patch Unity client compatibility issues caused by SDK updates or failing integration points with the Django backend
• Diagnose incidents involving frozen screens, stale or missing content updates, and configuration not reaching the Unity client from Django
• Identify root causes and propose and implement fixes
• Document known issues and workarounds in runbooks with the backend team and external stakeholders

• Proven experience with the Unity SDK, including release cycles, versioning strategies, Unity Package Manager, dependency management, and safe package upgrades
• Ability to read, analyze, and modify C# code in existing Unity projects, focusing on diagnosis, debugging, and targeted patching rather than building full applications from scratch
• Solid understanding of how Unity standalone applications consume REST APIs, including HTTP clients, JSON serialization and deserialization, error handling, and retry strategies
• Experience configuring and building Unity standalone targets for Windows and/or Linux
• Ability to reproduce and diagnose Unity runtime issues locally using logs, breakpoints, and diagnostic tools, and isolate networking, configuration, and SDK issues
• Practical knowledge of Unity plugins and Package Manager, including safe dependency updates and resolving conflicts and version mismatches
• English level B2+
• Будет плюсом: experience using Unity for digital signage, kiosk systems, or interactive displays (not traditional game development), basic understanding of Django REST API from the client perspective, conceptual familiarity with GCP Cloud Run, experience with jump PCs/RDP for remote diagnostics

• Part-time engagement: up to 10 hours/month
• Duration: 6–12 months, starting August
• Working window: Mon–Fri, 15:00–00:00 Warsaw time; presence at the monitor during the shift is not expected, but tasks must be handled within 4 hours to 1 business day
• Fully paid onboarding: 20 hours during August–October 2026
• Location: Poland or westward
