SOFTSWISS develops iGaming software solutions. Its Sportsbook is a software platform for launching and managing online sports betting businesses, helping clients create and operate bookmaker websites more efficiently.

• Investigate and resolve production issues across multiple services and integrations;
• Perform deep debugging using logs, traces, metrics, and database queries to identify root causes;
• Tune system performance, including PostgreSQL queries, caching, and service behavior under load;
• Work with Kubernetes environments, including deployments, configurations, scaling, and troubleshooting;
• Improve observability through metrics, logging, and tracing with Grafana and ELK stack;
• Support and maintain integrations between Sportsbook services and external client platforms;
• Set up and configure new Sportsbook-related projects and environments;
• Write internal tooling and Go automation to reduce manual work and operational overhead;
• Work with Kafka and RabbitMQ and diagnose related issues;
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to resolve incidents and improve system stability.

• Solid experience with Go and production code;
• Strong debugging skills across services, logs, and data layers;
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including query analysis, indexing, and performance tuning;
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including kubectl, deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting;
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and ELK;
• Experience with Redis, including caching patterns and debugging;
• Experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ, including consumer behavior, lag, retries, and failures;
• Understanding of distributed systems under load, including timeouts, retries, and race conditions;
• Comfortable working with production systems and handling incidents;
• Ability to work independently, investigate issues, and drive them to resolution;
• Nice to have: experience with high-load or real-time systems, Sportsbook or betting platforms, building internal tools or automation for engineering teams.
