Offchain develops blockchain scalability and security technology. It built the Arbitrum stack, which powers Arbitrum One, an Ethereum scaling solution, and provides infrastructure used by projects and decentralized applications across the Ethereum ecosystem.

• Operate production Kubernetes clusters and build scalable, declarative infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes environments, manage system components, and troubleshoot applications running on the platform
• Design CI/CD workflows with ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, or similar tools for infrastructure and application deployments
• Design and operate observability systems using time-series metrics, logs, and dashboards with tools such as Prometheus, Loki, Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch
• Diagnose networking and storage issues across complex, distributed systems
• Implement secure-by-default infrastructure and contribute to architecture reviews and threat models
• Automate operational workflows using Python, Go, Bash, or other scripting and programming tools

• Be eager to learn blockchain technology, even if it is new to you
• Enjoy solving infrastructure problems in unconventional ways and thinking beyond standard patterns
• Use tools such as k9s or ArgoCD while being comfortable debugging YAML, logs, and low-level issues
• Have experience with GitOps-style systems and treating infrastructure and application delivery as code
• Have scaled deployment automation using patterns such as ArgoCD ApplicationSets or similar tools
• Be curious about how systems work under the hood and avoid surface-level fixes
• Be comfortable with Linux, fluent in shell scripting, and productive in Python or Go
• Be comfortable operating a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and understand its underlying components well enough to adapt to or migrate across providers
• Have participated in an on-call rotation, responded to incidents, troubleshot under pressure, and driven postmortems to improve system reliability
• Design systems with security in mind, applying principles such as least privilege and threat modeling
• Bring a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality work
• Take ownership, collaborate openly, and contribute to a culture of clarity, curiosity, and continuous improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a drive to build reliable systems are valued; experience does not need to match every listed point
