site reliability engineer for the data platform

• Build and maintain platform solutions that improve the reliability, security, and scalability of Database Platform infrastructure
• Apply cloud infrastructure, networking, and CI/CD best practices to support operational data storage solutions
• Collaborate with Product Teams to facilitate database provisioning and operational efficiency
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to documentation
• Contribute to the team roadmap by delivering code and infrastructure improvements
• Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshooting
• Maintain and enhance observability solutions for platform SLOs and availability targets

• Hands-on experience maintaining cloud infrastructure, particularly in AWS
• Practical experience with operational data storage solutions such as PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, and S3
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Competence in at least one programming language; Python is preferred
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins
• Familiarity with cloud networking and security best practices
• Familiarity with observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Ownership, proactive problem-solving, and process improvement
• Passion for building high-quality, scalable, and secure infrastructure
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to building platforms as products
