Security engineer in telecom

We are looking for a SOC L3 Security Engineer to join our team on this long-term project.

• Investigate and respond to complex security incidents at SOC L3 level;
• Perform in-depth technical analysis of systems, networks, and services;
• Participate in the evolution of Incident Response processes and procedures;
• Create and improve incident response playbooks;
• Develop automation for security response and tasks, mainly in Python;
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual tasks and increase SOC efficiency;
• Collaborate with network, systems, and security teams to investigate and resolve incidents;
• Contribute to building and evolving Security Operations capabilities.

• Previous experience in Incident Response and SOC operations;
• Knowledge of the incident management lifecycle;
• Technical experience equivalent to SOC L3, with the ability to investigate complex incidents;
• Good knowledge of Python / scripting;
• Solid networking knowledge, equivalent to CCNA level;
• Experience with Linux, particularly analysis and troubleshooting through a remote terminal;
• Knowledge of Windows and event/system analysis;
• Knowledge of the main protocols and services: HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, SSH, TCP/IP, among others;
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems in a structured way;
• Availability to take on prevention activities.
