Data engineer in investment banking

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL or a related field
• Proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter
• Knowledge of Informatica mappings and workflows, Data Masking, sessions, workflow configuration, transformations, parameterization, error handling, recovery mechanisms, workflow monitoring and debugging
• Experience with troubleshooting and optimizing ETL processes handling large datasets and high-volume workloads
• Working experience with SQL, and relational databases
• Experience with analyzing data integration performance issues and implementing technical optimizations
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, data integration architectures and data lifecycle principles
• Experience working in structured development environments with version control, deployment processes and technical documentation
• Fluent in English
• Будет плюсом: Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC); Experience participating in or leading PowerCenter-to-IDMC migration initiatives; Knowledge of PowerCenter migration assessment, compatibility analysis and remediation activities; Experience with Informatica Data Quality / IDMC Data Quality; Knowledge of Informatica services related to metadata, governance or cataloguing; Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment of data integration components; Experience working with cloud platforms and modern data architectures; Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell; Experience working in Agile environments
