• Oversee cloud security governance and monitoring;
• Maintain a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solution;
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, development, and GRC teams as a Google Cloud subject-matter expert;
• Support and maintain cloud-native security controls;
• Conduct security reviews for cloud environments;
• Develop documentation outlining security recommendations and best practices;
• Identify weak spots, missing controls, and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvement and remediation;
• Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and cloud security controls;
• Participate in investigations and responses to potential security incidents;
• Implement automation for security-related tasks.

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical security role;
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) / Google Workspace;
• Strong knowledge of CSPM and DSPM solutions;
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, including architecture best practices, managed services, typical vulnerabilities, mitigations, and security best practices;
• Clear, positive, and persuasive communication on security topics with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Strong security mindset with a business-enablement focus;
• Familiarity with modern application development approaches, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, serverless, and code/artifact repositories;
• Broad IT and enterprise architecture knowledge, including the TCP/IP stack, relevant protocols and technologies, firewalls, proxies, Windows/Linux server operating systems, web servers, and database servers;
• Basic Python or Shell scripting skills for automating and streamlining daily tasks;
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automation, and security workflows;
• Effective spoken and written English;
• Ability to operate effectively within an enterprise environment;
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience with modern application development approaches, knowledge of AWS cloud, relevant security, systems, or networking certifications.
