• Assist in identifying and tracking vulnerabilities in software systems;
• Learn to use Qualys, Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes to identify security vulnerabilities under guidance;
• Support reviews of software systems security on AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms;
• Collaborate with IT Security, IT, and asset owners to relay alerts and document recommended remediation steps;
• Keep learning about current security practices and emerging vulnerabilities.

• Up to 1 year of experience in security engineering, IT, or a related field; internships and academic projects count;
• Basic understanding of vulnerability management concepts;
• Foundational knowledge of network security concepts and technologies;
• Basic familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Capability to work remotely and independently, with no work from the office required;
• English at B2 level;
• Willingness to learn and grow within a security engineering role;
• Nice to have: Exposure to Qualys, coursework, certifications or self-study in DevOps and security monitoring, familiarity with Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes, exposure to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure through personal projects, labs, or coursework.
