• Design, implement, and improve infrastructure security controls, including hardening, network segmentation, IAM, and endpoint security, across the entire fleet;
• Lead the technical direction for cybersecurity defense, including enterprise posture management, threat detection, and vulnerability management;
• Partner with ITOps, SysOps, DevOps, and XOps to embed security into architecture and change management processes;
• Develop and maintain the SIEM strategy and its surrounding infrastructure to ensure proactive visibility;
• Educate and coach engineering teams on secure system design.

• Extensive experience with GCP permissions and security configurations within Kubernetes, Azure, and on-prem environments;
• High proficiency in Intrusion Detection, Exploit Dev, Linux Operations, and Security Understanding;
• Proven ability to identify gaps in cloud designs and recommend enhancements for authentication, authorization, and bastion host setups;
• Ability to distill complex security risks into actionable insights for technical peers and non-technical stakeholders;
• Proven track record of managing large projects with complex deliverables and anticipating potential roadblocks;
• Ability to lead people without direct management responsibility;
• Nice to have: CISSP, Google Security Engineer or GIAC certifications, hands-on experience with Open Source SIEM solutions, Google Security Operations or Google Security Command Center.
