• Drive the adoption of good patterns, structures, and technologies for development and operations;
• Investigate practices and work that can benefit from automation;
• Monitor and suggest improvements to the existing CI/CD process to increase speed, safety, and reliability;
• Implement solutions and coordinate implementation with involved parties;
• Develop and maintain existing GitLab CI pipeline libraries;
• Assist developers with setting up CI/CD for their projects and support arising issues;
• Stay up to date with the latest tools and industry trends;
• Provide senior-level best-practice recommendations and implementations for Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes hosting environments;
• Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance and recommending learning opportunities;
• Educate team members and Application Development Teams about platforms used and hosted by the team;
• Work with the Security team to remediate high-risk vulnerabilities and ensure appropriate scrutiny of environment security;
• Offer related services to companies of the Group as instructed by the Line Manager.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline;
• 5+ Years of experience in Cloud (AWS), release pipeline management, Windows Server administration, Linux administration, certificate management, PowerShell scripting, Bash/Python scripting, configuration management, IaC (Ansible/Terraform), DNS, and networking;
• Enterprise-level Kubernetes experience;
• Solid Linux administration skills;
• Commitment to continuous improvement, observability, modern application architecture styles, blue-green/canary deployments, and CI/CD pipeline management;
• Ability to self-motivate, study emerging technologies and trends, and meet business deadlines;
• Experience with Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, MSK, and New Relic;
• Nice to have: familiarity with database concepts, experience with at least one cloud provider preferably AWS, Apache Kafka configuration and troubleshooting, ELK configuration and troubleshooting, scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go.
