Its Network Solutions team engineers and maintains networking products—including load balancing, switching, firewalls, VPN, VPC, and GPF—that connect and protect customers’ infrastructure.

• Own platform features end to end within the Network Solutions domain
• Take work from specification through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing production support across load balancing, switching, firewalls, VPN, VPC, and related networking services
• Build and maintain network-focused cloud infrastructure
• Work with Linux-based systems, configuration management, and supporting infrastructure to deliver reliable and scalable networking services
• Automate infrastructure configuration and operational processes using tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Support and improve networking platforms and services, working closely with network infrastructure and core networking components
• Translate requirements into clear technical specifications; identify dependencies, failure scenarios, and operational risks early, and resolve ambiguity before implementation
• Verify changes before production by testing infrastructure and software changes, exercising failure scenarios, and providing evidence that changes are safe and production-ready
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools for implementation, automation, and review, and remain accountable for the final result
• Review other engineers’ infrastructure and code changes and provide clear, actionable feedback on design, reliability, security, and operational risks
• Own operated systems, participate in the on-call rotation, respond to incidents, document root causes and follow-up actions, and reduce operational toil
• Make safe, incremental improvements to complex or legacy systems without unnecessary rewrites, and improve their documentation and instrumentation
• Mentor other engineers by sharing technical knowledge, explaining design and operational decisions, and supporting less experienced engineers through implementation and review
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and work with relevant engineers to avoid delivery blockers
• Understand customer and business outcomes, clarify requirements before building, deliver agreed work on predictable dates, and raise schedule risks early with evidence
• Stay close to production, use the AI harness daily, review code written by others, and keep technical judgment current

• 5+ Years of experience with cloud computing infrastructure configuration and production environments
• 5+ Years of experience with Linux server administration
• 5+ Years of experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Strong understanding of infrastructure reliability, availability, security, and production operations
• Experience building, operating, and supporting highly available production infrastructure
• Experience automating infrastructure configuration and operational processes
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation and responding to production incidents
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple infrastructure layers
• Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar or legacy environments and make safe, incremental improvements
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools in day-to-day technical work
• Clear written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team across multiple time zones
