platform engineer Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure

Conductor is an enterprise AEO platform that helps leading brands grow authority and visibility across AI and traditional search engines. Its platform tracks visibility in LLMs, monitors technical site health, and supports scaled AI content creation.

• Define the platform vision and deliver platform initiatives incrementally across hybrid cloud and bare-metal environments;
• Establish pragmatic standards for infrastructure, security, and operations;
• Lead high-impact platform projects end-to-end from design through implementation;
• Mentor and elevate platform engineers;
• Drive technical decisions and promote engineering best practices;
• Build and enhance self-service platform features and workflows;
• Streamline CI/CD to enable fast and reliable software delivery;
• Lead reliability and observability initiatives, including postmortems, SLOs, monitoring, and resilience patterns.

• 16–20+ Years of experience in platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering, including hybrid cloud and bare-metal environments;
• Hands-on experience in platform engineering, applying first-principles thinking and driving value;
• Experience in both small startups and large, fast-moving enterprises;
• Experience applying a product mindset to platform engineering and solving systemic issues for internal users;
• Strong background in CI/CD, automation, container orchestration, and infrastructure tooling;
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, and Terraform;
• Ability to manage production systems end-to-end while providing technical guidance;
• Experience applying enterprise-grade security and compliance practices;
• Experience operating high-scale distributed applications;
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, caching layers, and large-scale data pipelines.

• The Berlin base salary range for this role is currently 130,000 - 160,000 euro.
