• Understand customer problems and translate objectives into well-defined, scoped sub-problems;
• Set high standards for craftsmanship, reliability, and scalability while leading by example;
• Make long-term versus short-term trade-offs and design durable solutions;
• Manage projects with moderate levels of ambiguity;
• Own areas within the team’s charter and deliver improvements with real impact;
• Identify gaps and provide regular recommendations to cross-functional partners;
• Mentor and teach teammates as an empathetic and influential role model.

• Strong background in software engineering, preferably with Go and/or Python;
• Extensive experience with infrastructure tooling, ideally Terraform;
• Extensive experience managing AWS cloud environments;
• Ability to contribute to the direction of a technical domain in the platform space;
• Nice to have: Experience with container orchestration, Kafka, build systems, observability, AI-assisted developer tools, or LLM-backed integrations.
