Sii Poland provides IT services and consulting and partners with one of Europe’s leading fintech scale-ups. The team develops a cloud-based data platform across AWS and GCP to support scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.

• Build and maintain Data Platform infrastructure across AWS and GCP, including data lakes, data warehouses, orchestration, and observability components;
• Enhance the platform with new features and services, improved monitoring and observability, and automated operational tasks;
• Develop and maintain CI/CD-driven deployment processes to improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience;
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts to support and evolve the MLOps Platform;
• Manage and optimize the data estate, including IAM and access policies, storage, platform monitoring, and cost control;
• Design and implement secure, compliant, and user-friendly data infrastructure solutions;
• Improve platform performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency across cloud environments;
• Work with stakeholders across and beyond the data organization to understand requirements and deliver platform capabilities;
• Contribute to and uphold engineering practices including code reviews, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and data governance standards.

• At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Platform Engineering;
• Strong infrastructure and platform engineering experience with modern DevOps practices, cloud technologies, AWS, GCP, Docker, and Terraform;
• Expertise with BigQuery, including security, performance optimization, and cost management;
• Experience with AWS data lake architectures using Athena, S3, and Glue, including query optimization, security, and cost-efficient design;
• Proficiency in Python and modern data technologies such as Airflow and dbt;
• Solid understanding of data security, platform security, and access management;
• Experience implementing and maintaining observability and monitoring solutions such as Grafana and CloudWatch;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical options and make informed trade-offs;
• Excellent communication skills and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Comfort working with high engineering standards, including CI/CD, code reviews, pull requests, and governance practices;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken;
• Fluent Polish;
• Residing in Poland is required;
• Nice to have: Experience designing or building MLOps platforms and supporting machine learning workflows in production environments.
