• Drive infrastructure automation for configuration management of 2,000+ VMs and 600+ on-premises servers;
• Ensure consistency across distributed Equinix regions;
• Collaborate with global teams on security, networking, and platform standards;
• Implement GitOps practices for deployments and drift management;
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and product stakeholders to design scalable solutions;
• Work with technical project managers and product management teams to define and plan projects;
• Participate in on-call shifts.

• Strong experience managing on-premises Linux-based server infrastructure at scale with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible;
• Strong experience with Proxmox and/or VMware;
• Experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems;
• Deep proficiency in Linux systems;
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., QEMU, KVM, LXC, Docker);
• Experience with secrets management processes and tooling, such as HashiCorp Vault;
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, GitHub Actions, Jenkins);
• Nice to have: Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, experience with networking and routing, ability to work with agile methodologies, strong communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving mindset.
