Platform engineer

• Design, build and maintain scalable and reliable cloud platforms.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement and optimize Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Manage and optimize hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
• Ensure the availability, performance, security and scalability of platforms.
• Support development teams in deploying applications efficiently and independently.
• Identify and implement technical improvements and new technologies.
• Share technical knowledge and collaborate with other engineers on future-proof solutions.

• Extensive experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Demonstrable experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform, OpenTofu or Bicep.
• Practical experience with container technologies and container orchestration using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of GitOps principles and tools such as ArgoCD, FluxCD, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Experience programming or scripting in Python and/or Go.
• Ability to work independently in complex IT environments.
• A proactive attitude and a strong focus on automation, reliability and technical quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different technical teams.
