Pollard Digital Solutions builds lottery management and iLottery technology for lottery markets as a division of Pollard Banknote Ltd, a publicly traded partner to lotteries worldwide.

• Architect and evolve microservices-based Cloud infrastructure to support rapid growth and global demand;
• Lead the design, implementation, and tuning of the AWS environment;
• Design and maintain GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines;
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production;
• Act as a bridge between application teams and infrastructure;
• Drive automation, infrastructure-as-code, and shift-left practices across teams;
• Continuously improve system performance, availability, and monitoring;
• Apply deep knowledge of AWS and application security to implement proactive safeguards and compliance;
• Promote secure-by-default configurations through templates and reusable modules;
• Mentor others, share knowledge and guide them through challenges.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience;
• Bring 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering, with a track record of owning high-scale environments;
• Have 3+ years of working with AWS, including designing, architecting, and implementing;
• Possess expert-level experience with Kubernetes in production;
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of application security, secrets management, and compliance in cloud-native systems;
• Show fluency with GitHub, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD pipelines;
• Work with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK;
• Exhibit solid communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and explain infrastructure to non-infra folks;
• Prove the ability to mentor others, share knowledge, and influence engineering culture.
