Its teams support EU institutions, public authorities, and international organizations through multidisciplinary, evidence-based solutions.

• Support application build, integration, and deployment activities for backend systems and client devices;
• Manage, configure, and maintain system environments;
• Support project teams during system testing and ensure technical environment readiness;
• Monitor and analyze system functionality daily to ensure stable operations;
• Monitor system performance, availability, and overall health while proactively identifying potential issues;
• Report, coordinate, and follow up on technical issues related to application and system environments;
• Act as the primary technical liaison between Frontex ICT and external vendors or contractors on environment-related and operational issues;
• Provide technical support to ICT staff and project teams for deploying and configuring development environments in Microsoft Azure;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes, environment management, and operational support activities.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience;
• Excellent understanding of software deployment processes and management;
• Good understanding of software release management practices;
• Knowledge of RUP and/or Agile methodologies;
• Familiarity with application server technologies;
• Experience with build and deployment tools such as Ant and Azure Pipelines;
• Knowledge of software development tools and environments;
• Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS);
• Advanced knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint-related tools;
• Strong expertise in application build and deployment activities;
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork capabilities;
• Ability to work across a variety of technologies and platforms;
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment;
• Willingness to engage as a freelancer under a B2B contract model;
• Nice to have: Previous experience working within European Institutions, international organizations, or the public sector.
