devops engineer in financial markets infrastructure

The client provides global financial markets infrastructure and data services, including data, indices, analytics, capital formation, trade execution, clearing, and risk management.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines;
• Build and operate scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure;
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools;
• Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines with effective execution strategies;
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes;
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and cost efficiency;
• Establish observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting;
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to implement approved security standards;
• Create and maintain technical documentation for CI/CD pipelines, platform architecture, infrastructure components, and operational procedures;
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application architecture and deployment models;
• Develop and maintain automation tools, platform services, and internal developer tooling.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience;
• 7+ Years of IT experience, including at least 3 years focused on DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering;
• Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins;
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments;
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized application delivery;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation;
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms;
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills;
• Strong Bash and Python scripting skills;
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog;
• Strong understanding of networking, security, DNS, load balancing, and TLS/SSL;
• Experience supporting production systems with high availability requirements;
• 3+ Years of hands-on Java development experience;
• Experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Maven/Gradle;
• Familiarity with microservice architectures;
• Experience troubleshooting JVM, memory, GC, thread dumps, and performance issues;
• Understanding of software design principles and modern development practices;
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• System-level thinking and an architectural mindset;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
• Passion for automation and operational excellence;

• English at C1 Advanced level;
