• Drive infrastructure standardization and operational excellence by designing and developing scalable Python automation frameworks for cloud and on-premises deployments;
• Build and enhance Terraform code-generation platforms using Python and Jinja2;
• Develop and maintain Puppet modules, manifests, and Hiera configurations for Linux and Windows environments;
• Create PowerShell automation solutions for Windows server management, Active Directory administration, and hybrid cloud integrations;
• Develop internal automation tools, command-line utilities, and APIs for operational self-service;
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for automated validation, testing, and infrastructure deployment;
• Implement unit testing, linting, and integration testing strategies for infrastructure code;
• Partner with cloud, platform, and application teams to identify manual processes and drive automation-first solutions;
• Create documentation, standards, and runbooks for automation frameworks and infrastructure templates;
• Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and improve the quality, security, and maintainability of automation solutions.

• 5+ Years of Python development experience with structured, testable application code;
• Strong understanding of Python packaging, virtual environments, dependency management, and code quality tooling;
• Experience building Python CLI tools and automation frameworks;
• Hands-on experience with Jinja2 templating for reusable, parameterized configuration and infrastructure code;
• Experience with pytest for unit and integration testing;
• Strong Terraform proficiency, including module design, state management, remote backends, workspaces, and dependency graphs;
• Experience generating Terraform HCL programmatically with Python and Jinja2;
• Hands-on Puppet experience with manifests, modules, Hiera, node classification, and r10k or Code Manager workflows;
• Experience managing mixed Linux and Windows environments with Puppet at scale;
• Understanding of Puppet Enterprise or open-source Puppet Server administration;
• Proficient PowerShell scripting for Windows Server administration, task automation, and hybrid cloud integrations;
• Experience writing reusable PowerShell modules, functions, and error-handling patterns;
• Experience automating Active Directory, Group Policy, or Windows networking tasks with PowerShell;
• Solid AWS experience with EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch;
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and infrastructure code pipelines;
• Comfortable working with Linux and Windows Server in production environments;
• Nice to have: Terraform tooling such as tflint, tfsec, terraform-docs, Terragrunt, or Atlantis; puppet-lint, rspec-puppet, and automated Puppet module testing pipelines; Pester for PowerShell unit testing.
