DevOps engineer in cloud infrastructure

• Infrastructure as Code: You build and configure cloud infrastructures with tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes to provide scalable, maintainable systems.
• System Setup & Provisioning: You take care of the initial setup of systems and ensure that all required environments are provisioned quickly and reliably.
• Development Process Automation: You design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Monitoring & Observability: You integrate monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, OpenTelemetry) and ensure that development and production environments are continuously optimized and monitored.
• Collaboration & Support: You work closely with developers to improve the development process, resolve problems quickly, and support the rollout of new features.
• Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization: You use OpenTelemetry and other observability tools to diagnose and resolve performance issues in the production environment.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, ideally in the context of CI/CD and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and the automation of builds, tests, and deployments.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go to automate processes and create efficient solutions.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry to monitor and improve system behavior.
• Agile & Communicative: You are a team player, actively contribute to agile processes, and communicate fluently in German and English.
