devops engineer for sovereign cloud

SAP develops end-to-end business application software and related services for database, analytics, intelligent technologies, and experience management. Its cloud products serve customers worldwide across multiple industries.

• Design, implement, monitor, maintain, and optimize the SAP Sovereign Cloud system landscape for Germany;
• Set up multi-system landscape architecture and integration between heterogeneous system technologies;
• Provide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations;
• Continuously improve implementation documentation;
• Partner with the engineering team to design and enhance cloud operation processes.

• Work independently on complex issues and collaborate efficiently with experts across different time zones;
• Expertise with GitLab;
• Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible;
• Expertise with Linux and SUSE;
• Experience with CI/CD;
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Python, or BASH scripting;
• Experience with hyperscaler services, cloud computing, and databases;
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to multitask and handle various projects, deadlines, and changing priorities;
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and shifts;
• Willingness to undergo a governmental security clearance process;
• Nice to have: Experience with one SAP solution such as HCM, BTP, or SAC, Hashicorp Vault, Argo CD, GitOps, experience building, implementing, or supporting multitenant solutions.
