devops engineer for private cloud platforms

• Develop, operate, and optimize modern private cloud platforms and related services;
• Build, automate, and further develop Kubernetes-based environments;
• Ensure stable, secure, and performant operation of platforms and infrastructure components according to the “You build it, you run it” DevOps principle;
• Take responsibility for productive service operation and participate in the rotating on-call schedule;
• Automate deployments, operational processes, and infrastructure with modern DevOps tools;
• Analyze technical requirements and implement sustainable solutions together with the team;
• Support the introduction of new technologies and contribute ideas to improve platforms, automation, and operations;
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams;
• Perform error analysis and troubleshoot complex cloud, Kubernetes, and infrastructure issues;
• Create technical documentation, operating concepts, and best practices for platform operations;
• Support the continuous improvement of monitoring, observability, and security processes.

• Completed degree, IT-related vocational training, or comparable qualification;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or System Engineering;
• Practical experience operating and administering Kubernetes environments;
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems;
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana;
• Experience building and operating infrastructure in data center or cloud environments;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Git and modern DevOps and cloud-native tools;
• Good knowledge of networking, storage, and server technologies;
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills;
• Very good German and good English, both written and spoken.

• Salary ranges from 57.800 € to 84.680 €, depending on responsibility, experience, and competencies;
