devops engineer for digital identities

• Standardize and automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD while meeting quality and IT security requirements;
• Implement and manage the monitoring and alerting environment with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Opsgenie;
• Ensure the smooth operation of the Digital Credentials platform in collaboration with Software Engineering teams;
• Ensure the availability, latency, performance, and capacity of production systems;
• Manage project and product infrastructure;
• Design and implement security measures in collaboration with the IT-Sec team;
• Introduce and develop relevant SRE practices;
• Analyze and resolve incidents as part of on-call duty.

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or technical training with relevant professional experience in a comparable position;
• Solid practical experience in cloud environments and container orchestration, ideally with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift;
• Good understanding of SRE principles and interest in applying them in practice;
• Knowledge of monitoring, debugging, and performance measurement tools;
• Confident scripting skills and experience with dynamic programming languages such as Shell, Python, or Go;
• Knowledge of Linux and software version control, preferably Git;
• Analytical and service-oriented work approach;
• Enjoyment of working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban;
• Very good German and/or English skills at least at C1 level;
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Git.
